Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary in Maharashtra, India, is a hidden gem that offers an immersive safari experience, showcasing its diverse mammal population in a serene and picturesque setting. Nestled in the eastern part of the state, Nagzira’s dense forests, rolling hills, and sparkling lakes create an ideal habitat for a variety of wildlife. Embark on early morning and late afternoon jeep safaris to explore the sanctuary’s rich biodiversity. The sanctuary is home to a healthy population of Bengal Tigers, and though spotting these elusive predators requires patience and luck, the thrill of potentially encountering one in the wild is unparalleled. Leopards, often seen slinking through the underbrush or resting in the branches of trees, add to the excitement of the safari.
