Borneo is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth—and home to five wild cat species, four of which are incredibly rare and elusive. Our special interest trips focus on the near-mythical Sunda Clouded Leopard, Marbled Cat, Flat-headed Cat, and the more frequently seen Leopard Cat. Destinations like Deramakot, Tabin, and Danum Valley offer the best chances for sightings, with Deramakot being globally recognised for high success rates. These dense forests demand patience, sharp guides, and night safaris. Visit between March and October, flying into Kota Kinabalu or Lahad Datu
