Rehaan

Rehaan has been a special educator for 18 years, pouring his heart into crafting experiential learning that embraces diverse needs. His five-year stint in Australia gifted him with a multicultural and inclusive outlook, enriching everything he touches with a global flair.

At Happy Hathi, Rehaan is our jack-of-all-trades. Whether it’s designing trips, leading adventures, or ensuring a seamless experience for our guests, he does it all with unmatched enthusiasm.

When he’s not orchestrating perfect journeys, you’ll find Rehaan either humming a catchy tune or on the cricket field, batting with his mates. Rehaan’s culinary claim to fame? He can out-eat anyone in a Nalli Nihari competition! His love for music, cricket, and mixed martial arts adds a vibrant touch to his multifaceted persona.

Bitten hard by the wildlife bug, he’s diving headfirst into the wonders of our planet’s biodiversity, passionately advocating for a smaller human footprint on Earth.

Abha

Abha possesses a remarkable ability to connect with people from all walks of life, whether it’s a Finnish farmer or a Guyanese guide. She may not be a polyglot, but her warmth and genuine interest in others build connections that transcend language barriers.

From guests to guides or partners to patrons, Abha’s name is known far and wide. She is the heart of our team, constantly striving to exceed expectations in everything she does, from designing trips to gathering guest feedback.

Abha’s unwavering commitment to putting our clients first serves as a guiding light for us all. When she’s not busy with work, Abha enjoys trekking and finds inspiration in Indian tribal art.

Her dream is to learn Kathak, a traditional Indian dance. Her aspiration is to become the resident expert on Scandinavia and the Arctic for Happy Hathi.

Nishi

If you’re on safari with Nishi, expect her to describe sightings with precision, down to the decimal point – a tigress and two cubs might become “2.5” in her vocabulary!

Numbers are Nishi’s passion, much like CMYK is to designers. She has a keen ear for our financial metrics, ensuring that we’re always striving to meet and exceed our goals.

Nishi’s diligent management of our finances and compliance has contributed significantly to Happy Hathi’s reputation as a trusted brand among our partners.

When she’s not crunching numbers, Nishi enjoys competitive swimming and expressing her life experiences through sketches. Her dream is to become the first master scuba diver in her family, and she aspires to help Happy Hathi expand to 30 countries by 2030.

Daniel

The youngest member of our team, Daniel has grown up with a deep reverence for the wild. Raised to protect Earth’s majestic creatures, he doesn’t just admire nature, he champions it through every click of his camera. The team counts on him for fresh “Gen Z perspectives”, and there’s constant banter, as most of us think he’s a nerd (in the cutest way), but Daniel insists otherwise.

A wildlife photography enthusiast, he’s happiest tracking elusive animals or waiting for that perfect golden hour shot. His lens captures not just animals, but their stories, habitats, and the urgency to protect them.

Daniel brings youthful, untamed energy to Happy Hathi. When not in the wild, he’s chasing another passion….FOOD !…Hunting down everything from forest-side campfire fare to hidden culinary gems. He dreams of one day living fully immersed in the wild, camera slung over his shoulder and belly full of good food. Proving that you’re never too young to live boldly, speak up for the planet, and savour every flavour life has to offer.

Aparna

Growing up watching Jacques Cousteau on the telly ignited Aparna’s passion for exploring ‘parts unknown,’ leading to a lifetime of adventure. She’s journeyed across all seven continents and explored over 40 countries, always ready with a suitcase packed for her next escapade.

At Happy Hathi Expeditions, Aparna spearheads strategy and partnerships, ensuring we always keep our eyes on the big picture. Whether scouting new destinations or forging exciting partnerships ,her mantra is always: “What Next?”

Aparna’s heart beats for history, culture, food, and the indigenous people she meets on her travels. When not journeying across the globe, you’ll find her nose deep in a book or crafting insightful articles about business and leaders.

Inspired by her idol, Anthony Bourdain, Aparna dreams of authoring content that weave together tales of food, cultures, and travel, combining her love of discovery with her knack for storytelling.

Manasi

Manasi brings a storyteller’s eye and a producer’s instinct to everything she does , whether it’s designing a journey, crafting a reel that captures the soul of a place, or building stories that make people care. With over 15 years in journalism and video production, she sees both the big picture and the smallest detail, and knows how to weave them together meaningfully.

She thrives on discovering hidden stories , the kind that sit quietly on the edges but bring a place or person alive. Calm under pressure and endlessly curious, Manasi is as comfortable shooting a reel in the wild as she is moderating a leadership conversation in a corporate studio.

At Happy Hathi, Manasi brings our journeys to life by leading trips, shaping content, and creating experiences that invite reflection and connection.

Her dream? To shape our voice in short-form storytelling and create soul-stirring content that leaves people feeling a little more connected, and a little more alive.

Neha

Our social media wizard Neha’s superpower is that she can make our journeys look good on Instagram in under 10 seconds! An avid traveler with a knack for discovering offbeat destinations, Neha often visualizes the perfect reel, frame by frame, even before we finalize an itinerary.

While her screen time might suggest an unwavering dedication to her work, Neha has a remarkable hobby that helps her unwind and spark fresh content ideas for Happy Hathi.

Beyond her social media insights, Neha is a passionate birdwatcher. You’ll often find her on the field with binoculars, meticulously documenting her sightings. She actively contributes to eBird India, and other citizen science projects.

An MBA with over 18 years of experience in marketing, Neha’s love for travel and nature inspired her transition from a career in Banking to social media. She is now on a mission to ensure every visit to @HappyHathi is truly a trip of a lifetime!
